The North Island Menopause Conference returns to Campbell River this fall for its second annual event, bringing women together for a day of essential information, expert insights, and supportive connection through the menopause journey.

Taking place Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Campbell River Community Centre, the full-day conference builds on the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural event with a lineup of leading experts in women’s midlife health and an inclusive space for women to connect, learn, and share.

“It’s such an inspiring and engaging event, we’re absolutely thrilled to bring it back,” said Kathy Grayson, founder and executive director. “Women deserve access to accurate information and the chance to find community with others experiencing the same transitions. This event is all about making sure women find the support and connection they need to navigate this complex stage of life.”

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Shirley Weir, author, podcast host, TEDx speaker, and founder of Menopause Chicks, one of North America’s most active online communities for evidence-based menopause information and support. For over a decade, Weir has been a powerful voice for women by breaking down stigma and providing clear, credible information.

Other speakers at the conference are Tanya Kessling, a registered physiotherapist and the owner of Mend Bodyworks in Campbell River, Elisabeth Crisci, an award-winning medical doctor and the director of Pacifica MD in Qualicum Beach, and Erin Roman, a registered dietitian who looks into how nutrition connects with mental and emotional health.

The conference includes both large-format talks and smaller, interactive workshops focused on topics such as sleep issues, hormone therapy, exercise and neuroscience, incontinence and pelvic floor support, burnout, nutrition and health, mental health, hypnotherapy, and more.

Conference participants will be able to design their own learning experience by attending sessions aligned to their needs and interests. Booths on site will showcase additional services and products, and speakers will be available for questions and informal discussions throughout the day.

Tickets are $75 and are available for either the in-person event or an online stream of select presentations, which will be available live and for a limited time following the event.

The full conference schedule, speaker lineup, and tickets are available at nimenopause.com.

Organizers are looking for additional sponsors and vendors for the conference. For more information email info@nimenopause.com.
