The Canadian Club of Victoria has a new president.
John Fryer, a member of the Order of Canada and previously a union executive and University of Victoria professor, was elected at the club's annual general meeting on June 18.
Ellen Stensholt was elected vice-president.
The Canadian Club belongs to a network of clubs whose common objective is to provide forums that promote understanding and pride in Canada.
