Those hoping to grab a bite to eat or catch a concert at the Sports View Lounge this summer will have to look elsewhere.
Located in the Oak Bay Recreation Centre, the 1975 Bee St. restaurant and events space is set to close on June 20 at 2 p.m. to accommodate day camp programming. The venue will reopen on Sept. 8.
"The district looks forward to welcoming back our Sports View Lounge patrons and the community," Oak Bay's manager of communications Hayley Goodgrove said in an email.
