A Harbour Air plane takes off from Victoria. The company is partnering with the with BC Cancer Foundation in its Beyond Belief fundraising campaign.

Folks flying on Fridays with Harbour Air are part of a huge campaign targeting $500 million for cancer research and care in the province.

As part of the BC Cancer Foundation’s fall 2024 Life Beyond Cancer campaign, this initiative serves as one of the key fundraising avenues for Beyond Belief, the Foundation’s ambitious multi-year campaign.

“We’re grateful for Harbour Air’s partnership in helping to advance cancer research and care across B.C.,” foundation senior director Lindsay Abbott said in a news release. “Community support is essential to driving progress in cancer care, creating new innovations for improved outcomes and hope for families facing cancer.”

As a partner, Harbour Air, North America’s largest seaplane airline, is promoting the campaign across terminals and marketing channels along with its Share The Fare program, which donates $1 for every passenger that flies on Fridays.

With Harbour Air’s support, the foundation is showcasing what Life Beyond Cancer can look like, sharing the stories of individuals across B.C. who have experienced cancer diagnosis and treatment and are now thriving.

“By promoting the foundation’s Beyond Belief campaign across our terminals and marketing channels in combination with our Share The Fare program, Harbour Air will help encourage donations for this incredibly important cancer-fighting initiative,” Harbour Air vice president of commercial Chris Fordyce said in a news release
