The Victoria HarbourCats are giving fans a chance to meet Manny Ramirez for a good cause.
Ahead of the team's contest against Bellingham on Saturday, June 22, the MLB legend will be signing autographs at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre at 1 p.m. for the first 100 people who register.
Ramirez's two sons, Manny Jr. and Lucas play for the HarbourCats this season and it was his wife, Juilana's idea to host the autograph session in an effort to help raise money for Our Place Society.
Those interested in an autograph can register for $99.24 (the two numbers he wore during his MLB career).
"We are so honoured to have the Ramirez family here and to see how involved Manny and Juliana have become already in less than two weeks in our city," said HarbourCats Jim Swanson.
