Residential branch chipping gets underway next week in Victoria

Boulevards will soon be cleared of tree prunings and branches

The City of Victoria’s annual resident branch-chipping service begins Feb. 11 at 7 a.m.

Every household is allowed one pile of branches, no more than a foot or so in length, that amounts to roughly a pick-up truck load in size. Yard waste can also be dropped off free at the public works yard, 417 Garbally Rd., Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 pm.

See victoria.ca/branchchipping for details.
