Camosun College hosts its annual Korean Cultural Festival on Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Na`tsa`maht on the Lansdowne campus in Saanich.

Camosun College celebrates everything Korean with a festival bringing together people of all backgrounds to celebrate the country’s traditions, arts and cuisine.

With only a pause during the pandemic, the event has been popular since its inauguration in 2016.

The festival – a platform for cultural exchange and community connections – includes a day full of good food, crafts stations, Korean games, live music and performances.

“This is a much-anticipated event for Camosun every year,” said Marius Langeland, associate director, International Partnerships and Projects for Camosun International. “It’s an incredible opportunity for the community to experience just some of the incredible culture that Korea has to offer.”

Camosun College has approximately 2,100 international students, including more than 30 students from Korea, and offers several Korean language courses.

The annual Korean Cultural Festival is Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Na`tsa`maht on the Lansdowne campus in Saanich.
