Get ready for an unforgettable evening of artistic marvels and captivating performances as the Township of Esquimalt Community Arts Council presents the much-anticipated event Splash of Light – with lanterns lighting up the night.

The festivities will take place at Gorge Park on Sept. 16 from 6:30 to 9:45 p.m. for people of all ages to attend.

DJs Rare Avis and Anchor Hill will play rhythmic beats and songs at the celebration. Their music promises to create a magical atmosphere that sets the right mood for a night full of amazing things to see.

The event will also have Tricky Magic and Jugglers on stage, so get ready to be amazed. Their mesmerizing shows will leave you in awe as they make their illusions.

“My family and I went to this event last year and my children were amazed at all the impeccable work done to entertain us. It was the first event we attended here in Canada and as an immigrant family who need to show their children the good things about here, attending Splash was a great way to show them how much the city has to offer. They are looking forward to attending this year’s event,” said Anna Gonzales.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening would be the magical walk through the luminous forest and parks when you will feel like you’re in another world.

You can find your way with the help of lights, which create a unique atmosphere that takes you to a world of wonder. The fire dancers also promise to be one of the most amazing parts of the night. Watch in wonder as they use their skill to control the flames and create a breathtaking show.

Don’t forget to bring your picnic blanket or chairs so you can have a comfortable place to sit and watch the shows and activities.
