Friends of Greater Victoria Public Library will hold a spring book sale over the weekend at the Nellie McClung branch at 3950 Cedar Hill Rd. in Saanich
Used audio books, large-print books, CDs and DVDs will also be on offer.

The sale runs Saturday, March 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. ($3 admission fee); admission is free Sunday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; while from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. admission is $10 and all books are free.
Previous sales proceeds have gone to support library programs and services.

The ‘Friendshop’ book sales at the Central Branch also has bargains on books year-round, the group’s website states. The group has raised more than $800,000 through the Friendshop since 1999, they write in the latest spring newsletter.
