The guaranteed $1 million prize in the Saturday, June 18 Lotto 6/49 draw is guaranteed to make someone who bought a ticket in the Comox Valley very happy.
According to the Playnow.com website, a ticket bought in Courtenay has won the “white jackpot” $1 million prize by matching the following number sequence: 04589465-01.
The “gold jackpot” was carried over, as was the classic prize for matching all six numbers in the main draw. The numbers in the Saturday draw were 16, 31, 42, 44, 45 and 48. The bonus number was 15.
Two B.C. tickets split the 5/6 + the bonus number prize. Tickets purchased in Prince George and Vancouver won $139,300.30 apiece.
