Park rangers and volunteers, led by local resident Alenzo Winters, unclogged Goldstream Park Saturday, Feb. 2.
Armed with a $500 grant, Winters even shuttled volunteer labourers into the park by bus and offered lunch.

Among the cedars, volunteers cleared the park of trash in what “seemed like a fun way to spend a Saturday.”
They cleared candy wrappers, string, plastic bags, beer cans and clothes, alongside surprises such as a muffler and lawn chairs.
