WATCH: Victoria Hockey Day in Canada events lead up to Saturday’s main event

Public festival hosting hockey, food trucks, music and more at Ship Point

Hockey-filled festivities have been going on across Victoria leading up to Saturday’s main event, when people across Canada will tune in to B.C.’s capital city as it hosts Hockey Day in Canada.

The week so far has seen kids, joined by former NHL players like Wendel Clark and Darcy Tucker, take to a synthetic ice rink at Ship Point, while the Stanley Cup has also made multiple appearances.

The Inner Harbour will be the place to be on Saturday (Jan. 20) as a public festival will coincide with the national Hockey Day in Canada broadcast.

The all-ages happenings include a pancake breakfast, hockey clinics, ball hockey, food trucks, music, the Stanley Cup, autograph opportunities and more.
