Two big acts will be hitting the stage in Victoria.
Billy Talent, with special guest GOB, will be coming to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Oct. 11.
The Canadian punk quartet jumped into mainstream success in 2003 with a Juno-winning album that went quadruple-platinum. After a recent six-year gap in albums, the band returns with its sixth set, 2022’s Crisis of Faith, which landed three consecutive number-one songs on Canadian rock radio and led to two more Juno nominations.

On Monday (May 29) Cirque du Soleil also announced its show Corteo will be returning to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for seven performances from Jan. 11 to 14, 2024. It was last in Victoria in 2018.
This production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, was performed for the first time in Montreal in 2005, and since then, it has dazzled more than 10 million people in 20 countries on four continents.
Corteo is a joyous procession imagined by a clown picturing his own funeral while being watched over by angels. It combines acrobatic feats and comedy set in a carnival atmosphere.
Tickets go on sale June 5 at cirquedusoleil.com/corteo.
