‘Bit by Bit’, Vancouver indie-rock group Mother Mother has plans to make its way across Canada with a 2025 tour, kicking off with a first show in Victoria on Feb. 18.

The popular five-piece band, founded by siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond and co-fronted by Jasmin Parkin, is known for its intricate harmonies, catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. Their popular tracks include high-energy hits like Bit by Bit, Hayloft and Arms Tonight alongside slower melodic songs like Ghosting. The band is recognized for its unique blend of alternative rock with pop, electro and folk influences.

This tour is in support of Mother Mother’s ninth album, Grief Chapter. Since forming in 2005, Mother Mother has released nine studio albums, 35 music videos, four live albums and garnered several Juno nominations.

Singer songwriter Cavetown and pop band Cannons will also be performing at the Feb. 18 show at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

Promoter Live Nation announced the tour on Monday. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. at sofmc.com or livenation.com. They can also be purchased through the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre box office (250-220-7777).
