Our Place Society is days away from hosting a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol featuring local media figures.
Familiar faces from CHEK and CBC, including Paul Haysom, Gregor Craigie, Kathryn Marlow, and Margaret Gallagher, will perform roles from the classic holiday tale. Bob McDonald, Katie DeRosa, and Marion Newman are also slated to join the cast.
West Coast Reach Association will lead singalong carols, joined by members of Our Place’s choir, celebrating diversity through music.
The event takes place Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. at First Metropolitan United Church, 932 Balmoral Road.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children, with proceeds supporting Our Place meal services. They can be purchased online at ourplacesociety.com/christmascarol.
