Breakout star Maren Morris, Kip Moore, Randy Houser, long time Valley fave Terri Clark, and Michael Ray are joining Jason Aldean for Sunfest 2019.
Wideglide Entertainment and Laketown Ranch named their “second wave” of artists late last week, whipping up even more interest in next summer’s big country music festival at Lake Cowichan. There’s been lots of anticipation after the announcement about Aldean at Sunfest 2018.
Vocal powerhouse Randy Houser, known for his #1 hits ‘How Country Feels’ and ‘Runnin’ Outta Moonlight’ will kick off the Sunfest weekend on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Friday night, Aug. 2 on the big stage, Sunfest will showcase platinum-certified and Canadian Country favorite Terri Clark. She will open for Aldean: one of the biggest and most exciting headliners in Sunfest Country history.
The following night, Saturday, Aug. 3, the headliner is country music chart-topper, and Grammy award winner, Maren Morris.
Wrapping up the weekend on Sunday, Aug. 4 rising country star Michael Ray will perform ahead of fan favorite Kip Moore, well-known for his top hits ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck’ and ‘Last Shot’.
Greg Adams, owner of Wideglide Entertainment and Laketown Ranch, is delighted with these signings.
“We are so proud to bring this impressive lineup of talent to Laketown Ranch. With improvements to the Ranch and exciting activities planned for guests, Sunfesters have an amazing festival to look forward to this year,” he said.
Further artists will be announced in the spring to complete the Sunfest 2019 lineup. There’s always top talent on several stages at Sunfest, so to keep up with it all, watch this space!
