A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a train near Hope and Yale.
The Emory Creek Campground near Hope was closed Friday (Aug. 8) at 8 a.m. as Hope RCMP investigated the fatality, which took place in the area.
Access to the campground has been blocked off until further notice.
"Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased individual”, said Staff Sgt. Mike Sargent of the Hope RCMP.
