A Canada Post service disruption is currently impacting the distribution of some invoices and the timely delivery of mail to the Capital Regional District (CRD).

The CRD is advising water customers to sign up for e-billing to ensure they continue receiving their water bills without delay. Customers unable to sign up for e-billing or who prefer paper bills can request a balance owing for their account by emailing Integrated Water Services at waterbilling@crd.bc.ca.

However, detailed bills cannot be emailed, and customers are still required to pay on time.

Hartland Landfill Account customers who typically receive monthly invoices by mail are encouraged to switch to email invoicing. To do so, or to request a copy of an invoice, customers can contact CRD accounts receivable at accountsreceivable@crd.bc.ca.

For those who usually mail cheques, the CRD recommends setting up web banking or electronic funds transfer (EFT) to avoid delays. As with water bills, customers are responsible for paying their Hartland Landfill invoices on time.
