Douglas closed to traffic after pedestrian hit in downtown Victoria

Victoria firefighters tend to a person laying in the street early on Oct. 2.

Drivers can expect delays after an early morning incident closed Douglas Street on Oct. 2 around 6:30 a.m.

Witnesses said it appeared a person had been hit as emergency crews tended to a person laying in the roadway near the intersection with Yates Street. 

VicPD closed Douglas at Yates and expect it to remain closed through the morning commute.
