Oak Bay swimmers will need to find a new place to take a dip in June.
Between Monday, June 2, and Sunday, June 22, the Oak Bay pool will be closed for maintenance. Swimmers will be welcomed back on Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m.
The other amenities in the Oak Bay Recreation Centre will remain open.
Active time-sensitive Oak Bay Recreation memberships with a valid expiry date sticker will be accepted at other regional recreation centre pools. These include Saanich Commonwealth Place, Gordon Head Recreation Centre, Panorama Recreation Centre, Esquimalt Recreation Centre, Crystal Pool, Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre and SEAPARC. Those in need of an expiry date sticker have been asked to visit Oak Bay Recreation Centre reception.
