The Victoria Police Department has announced that charges have been laid against two men in connection to a fatal stabbing in April 2024.
On April 9, 2024, VicPD patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 2900-block of Douglas Street, where officers arriving at the scene found one man suffering from stab wounds. He eventually died from his injuries.
According to an April 15 news release, Tighson Laughren, 37, and Brody Laughren-Smith, 31, were arrested and charges have been sworn for second-degree murder. They both remain in custody pending a future court date.
