As the April 28 federal election approaches, our community newspapers have been closely covering the candidates. With many upcoming voters reviewing their options, Black Press Media has compiled coverage of the Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke riding into one convenient resource below.

The Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke riding is comprised of part of Saanich, Juan de Fuca, the district municipalities of Esquimalt, Metchosin and Sooke, the City of Colwood, the Town of View Royal, Becher Bay Indian Reserve No. 1, Esquimalt Indian Reserve, New Songhees Indian Reserve No. 1A and T'Sou‑ke Indian Reserve.

The riding has a population of about 128,644 as of the 2021 Statistics Canada census. The seat has been held by NDP leader Randall Garrison since 2015.
