Saanich Police were called to a home in the 1500 block of Christmas Ave. on Thursday (Nov. 22), following a report of an individual in possession of a firearm.
With the assistance of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team, a female suspect was arrested without incident.
A Saanich Police news release confirmed a firearm was recovered at the scene.
The suspect was expected to appear in court on Friday (Nov. 22).
Saanich Police has said the investigation is ongoing.
