A road closure on Whiteside Street between Kamloops Avenue and Tillicum Road has been extended as crews continue work on a water service installation.
The closure, which began on July 22, is now expected to remain in place until Friday, Aug. 1, with work continuing daily between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Emergency vehicles and local traffic will still have access to the area. Traffic control personnel and signage will be on site to assist drivers.
Saanich is asking motorists to obey all posted signs in the area and directions from traffic control staff.
