Soggy conditions topple concrete truck over Saanich home

Crews await drier weather, better footing to right tipped concrete truck

A crew awaits drier weather and more stable ground after a concrete truck toppled inches from a home's roof midday Monday (March 24) in Saanich.

A truck pumping concrete became unstable on the ultra-saturated ground and tipped over, leaving only one point on the ground, and the pipe inches from the roofline in the 3400-block of Cedar Hill Road, a witness said.

No injuries or damage to the property was reported.
