VicPD hopes the image of two individuals – believed to be the victim and the suspect in a July 9 stabbing – will help the public recall information and encourage anyone with information or additional video to come forward.

Victoria police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a July 9 stabbing that left one person with life-threatening injuries.

Officers were called to the intersection near Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue just after 8 p.m. and found a woman with multiple stab wounds.

Investigators believe the interaction started in the 2100-block of Douglas Street a few minutes earlier. Two women were reportedly involved in an altercation, with one woman pursuing the other from Princess Avenue onto Douglas Street, briefly obstructing traffic, and then back towards Pembroke Street.

VicPD released an image of two individuals, hoping it will spur new information and video footage. Anyone with either is asked to call the E-Comm non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 ext. 1 and reference file numbers 25-25953.
