Beer lovers rejoice: Whistle Buoy Brewing Company is celebrating its 6th birthday with a raft of summer events.
Over the next four months, the Victoria brewery will be extending its Market Square patio, adding room for 200 more (293 total) folks to dance, hang and imbibe at five themed parties.
There will be live music, games, fresh beer releases and all-day beer gardens. While outside food is permitted, Los Panas Venezuelan Kitchen, Dumpling Drop and The Wandering Mollusk will be there to sling nosh to hungry attendees.
Each date boasts a unique theme:
- June 28 – Birthday Party featuring Juice, TK The Artist and Sofia Leónne and The Trippycals
- July 5 – Victoria Stampede featuring Burks&Gunn and Jaimeson Rhy, and The Denim Daddies
- July 19 – Beach Day featuring Yours Truly, Alle, Local Charm and GETTWETT
- Aug. 10 – Garden Party featuring Juice, Jaya Bremer and Frase
- Sept. 21 – Oktoberfest featuring OK Charlie and the Victoria Edelweiss Dancers
The patio for each gathering opens at noon, with a DJ starting by 1 p.m. and bands kicking off by 6 p.m. Cover for the first-come-first-served parties costs just $5.
Families and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
