Starting on April 29, Greater Victoria School District (SD61) meetings will be back in-person after five years of online meetings that began during COVID-19.

Following the removal of the nine SD61 board trustees, province-appointed trustee Sherri Bell has rescheduled the April 28 board meeting to April 29 due to the federal election, with the meeting also being in-person in the SD61 office at 556 Boleskine Rd.

Thought there was a hiatus, there have been "numerous" meetings that have been held in person for special board meetings, Ad Hoc committee meetings and as working sessions.

After that date, all meetings will continue to be held in-person, though they will also be livestreamed, recorded, and available of the SD61 Youtube channel.

The board meeting schedule, agendas, and minutes will continue to be uploaded to the website at www.sd61.bc.ca.
