The Tridents recently announced that the organization has secured a new midfielder.
Aidan Daniels has agreed to a two-year guaranteed contract with the Langford-based team.
According to Pacfic FC, the Markham-born 26-year-old boasts an understanding of Canadian Premier League soccer, having made 80 appearances for the Halifax Wanderers over three seasons.
“Aidan is a creative, technical player with good awareness in the midfield who can change the tempo of a game,” Pacific FC's head coach James Merriman said in a news release. “He’s attack-minded in his football, he looks for the killer pass and he can create goals with his ability.”
Daniels began his soccer career at the Toronto FC academy – a Major League Soccer youth development academy in Ontario. He would go on to play for Toronto FC, the Ottawa Fury, the Colorado Springs Switchbacks and the Oklahoma City Energy. The midfielder also represented Canada at the U15, U17, U20 and U23 levels.
“Aidan sees forward when he plays,” added Merriman in the same news release. “That’s something we need in our team and we’re excited to have him provide it.”
