Voters in Battle River-Crowfoot are headed to the polls on Monday to select a new Member of Parliament.
After the April Federal Election, MP Damien Kurek stepped aside in the riding, making way for Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre to run as the candidate.
The byelection was officially called on June 30. Nearly 14,500 people voted at the advance polls earlier this month.
There are 214 candidates in the byelection, the most candidates in a single riding in Canadian history.
Elections Canada was forced to redesign the ballot due to the large number of candidates. Eligible voters are using an adapted ballot, meaning they will need to write in the name of their preferred candidate.
Polls are open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
