The Sooke area has seen a number of power outages in the last two weeks, with BC Hydro dealing with several after January’s Greater Victoria snowstorm.
Some people in Victoria were also without power for the majority of the day on Jan. 23, with the power provider doing scheduled maintenance on some equipment. The outage impacted around 175 customers near the 1100 block of Yates Street and was finished after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
