The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to find a 38-year-old woman who has not been seen nor heard from since last week.

Georgia Schell was reported missing to the Nanaimo RCMP on Monday, June 26. Investigators have learned that a rental vehicle associated to her, a grey 2006 Acura MDX with B.C. licence plate No. TH074S, was due to be returned on Saturday, June 24.

“Police have also been informed that her behaviour has been erratic in recent days, and as a result there is concern for her safety and well-being,” noted an RCMP press release.

The missing woman is believed to be in northern Vancouver Island as there have been sightings in recent days of her in the Comox Valley and Sayward areas.

She is 5-foot-4 with a thin build and long dark hair.

Anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2023-21638.
