The wheels on the house went round and round in Oak Bay on Tuesday.
The removal of a home at 742 Patrick St. was captured in a time-lapse video by neighbour Cameron Woodbridge from across the street.

The video shows the house lifted from the lot and put on a large truck. One Facebook commenter said it was headed to a barge before being transported to Gabriola Island.
Neighbour Liz Belsten has lived near the home for over 20 years and frequently walked passed it on her way to the bus.
“If I get rich I want that house (my house being considerably less posh). I really, really liked that house,” she told Black Press Media in a Facebook message.
Judy Cook-Woodbridge, whose husband shot the video of the house removal from across the street, isn’t sure what will go in in its place.
“I do hope that whatever goes in is sympathetic to the size and design lines of other homes on the street,” she said via Facebook. “A glass/concrete cube would not be my first pick.”
