VIDEO: Victoria police seek early morning prowler caught on camera

Victoria police are asking for help identifying a prowler caught on camera in Fernwood who they believe is a suspect in other area incidents in the early hours of June 14.

Around 3:30 a.m. officers were called to a report of a man in front of a residence in the 2000-block of Chambers Street. An area resident told officers that the suspect threatened them after being spotted, and filmed, on private property, VicPD said in a news release. Officers did not locate the individual.

About two hours later officers were called to a multi-suite residence in the 1000-block of Princess Avenue where the caller reported seeing a man enter one of the suites through a window.

Officers again arrived within minutes but did not locate a suspect.

The individual is described as a Caucasian man, about 35 years old, about 5’10” with a slim build and short hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, black gloves, and had a black, collapsible canvas wagon with him.
