While it is true feminists have pushed for equal opportunities in the workplace, other feminists have worked equally hard to shed light on the problems of overworked and overburdened women.
Feminist literature also explores the important “role of the housewife” probably with more vigor or interest than other theoretical approaches, and most certainly not always with a negative connotation.
As a masters student who spends much of her time both reading such literature and as a mother and housewife living within some of these modern-day tensions (as most feminists would agree modern men are also often doing), I certainly see the relevance of feminist literature that is directly concerned with such issues.
Too bad your paper misses a chance to give a real assessment of where the very broad field of thought called feminism is today.
