On Aug. 8, I was driving south on Shelbourne Street planning to turn at the mid block traffic light to Home Depot.
Out of nowhere a skateboarder appeared, coming fast down the slope from Home Depot.
He was in the outside lane but turned across my lane. I slammed on the brakes, he missed me by about a metre and went up Shelbourne in the wrong lane.
If the other car had not delayed me, I would have been well into the turn, he would have hit me and possibly come through my windshield.
Are there no rules for skateboarders or do a few have to be creamed before something is done?
