Liberal government makes big promises, if people are willing to wait

Our world is rapidly changing. We are rethinking everything, from how resources are extracted and refined to how they are sold and purchased. As a result, where we live, move, work and play is in transition.

As I have done every November 11th since I moved to the Island in 1988, I attended the Remembrance Day ceremony in Sidney. It’s always such a stirring tribute to those who paid the supreme sacrifice . A huge thank you to all who participate and to those that organize it.

We are fortunate on the Peninsula to have well informed, local news coverage in the Peninsula News Review . Your Friday editorial, “Change Keeps Popping Up”, accurately summarized the effect of decisions being made by Sidney and North Saanich. However, the third paragraph caught my eye.
