Just like that, it is Labour Day weekend across the CFL.
Before we preview week 13, let's see what happened in week 12.
- It took a walk-off rouge point, but the Toronto Argonauts defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 20-19;
- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won over the worst team in the league, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, after a touchdown from Bombers receiver Kenny Lawler with 20 seconds left gave Winnipeg the 26-23 victory;
- The B.C. Lions lost their fifth straight game, 34-27 to the Ottawa Redblacks after a 390 yard passing performance from QB Dru Brown;
- And despite a game attempt from the Edmonton Elks, the Montreal Alouettes remained the best team in the league, by beating Edmonton, 21-17.
As for us, Bowen has now had two straight perfect weeks, as his 3/3 performance now has him at 22/33 on the year. Jordy went 1/3 as he too is 22/33 throughout the year. In the head-to-head, another victory for Bowen now has him one away from tying it up, as it is six wins for Jordy, five for Bowen and one pesky tie.
