It's week 14 of the CFL which means we are somehow two-thirds of the way through the season already.
Labour Day weekend was a wild one around the CFL:
- In front of the Victoria crowd, the B.C. Lions finally got back in the win column by beating the Ottawa Redblacks 38-12;
- On Sunday, as a Roughriders tried to kick a field goal for the win… but it felt short, giving Winnipeg the 35-33 victory;
- My heart was broken a lot this Labour Day weekend as Toronto somehow lost to the Hamilton Tigercats in a barn-burner, 31-28;
- And finally, the red hot Edmonton Elks won the battle of Alberta, beating Calgary 35-20.
As for us, Jordy went 2/3 to improve to 24/39 on the season while Bowen went 0/3 and is 22/39 on the campaign. One of Jordy win's was in the head-to-head match-up, which he leads 7-5 plus a tie.
