3 Downs, 3 Picks is a weekly video series breaking down the CFL

With just four weeks left to go in the regular season, the CFL playoff picture is becoming a little clearer but there's still so much to go.

Before our predictions for week 18, here's what happened last week:

  • The Winnipeg Blue Bombers extended their winning streak to seven games and became the first team in the West to punch their ticket to the postseason after a 55-27 thumping of the Edmonton Elks;
  • The BC Lions held the Hamilton Tigercats to zero first half points… and lost. An epic collapse by the Lions as they were up 16-0 at one point, but fell in overtime, 32-29;
  • A game that wasn’t particularly close, the Saskatchewan Roughriders beat the Ottawa Redblacks, 29-16.
  • This game was just for kicks as the Toronto Argonauts kicked eight field goals on their way to a 37-31 win over Montreal.
  • And the CFL trade deadline came and went with just one trade going down, as BC and Montreal struck a trade.

As for us, Jordy went 2/3 and Bowen went 0-3 on last week's picks. Jordy is now 28/51 on the year while Bowen is now 25/51. Jordy also lead the head-to-head 9-7 plus a tie, with just three weeks to go in the regular season.

Let's look at our thoughts and playoff scenarios for week 18:
