Okanagan Sports Pulse is a new podcast series that dives deep into sports in the Okanagan.

In the ultra athletics community, Shanda Hill is literally one of one. The Vernon local recently completed the Triple Deca Continuous Triathlon in La Garda, Italy, becoming the first woman ever to do so.

Beginning on Sept. 1, Hill swam 114 km, biked 5,400 km and ran 1,266 km, to complete the race in just under 41 days.

This feat seems and sounds unconscionable, and so in the latest edition of the Okanagan Sports Pulse podcast, Bowen sits down with Shanda Hill to discuss the feat and try to understand what goes on in her mind during those excruciating days.

But before the interview, Bowen recaps the past few weeks in the Okanagan and finishes up by highlighting an athlete who has raised the bar.

Thanks so much for watching and listening.
