Phil Mack’s return with the Seattle Seawolves went swimmingly as the defending Major Rugby League champions ran off a 48-7 win over the Vancouver Island Crimson Tide representative side at Westhills Stadium on Saturday.
Heavy rains fell during the exhibition match that saw the Crimson Tide continue their tradition, one which dates back more than 100 years. Longtime Westshore Rugby veteran John Lyall oversaw the club’s latest construction, coached by Sean White (JBAA), Aaron Frisby (Westshore RFC) and Nanyak Dala (Castaway Wanderers).
