The Victoria Shamrocks used all nine of their picks, along with an additional fourth round pick from New Westminster Thursday night in the 2019 Western Lacrosse Association draft of graduating Junior players.

The Shamrocks retained five graduating Junior A players at home, taking them in the third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth rounds.

“It was exciting, they’re always exciting,” said general manager Chris Welch. “While it was a little bittersweet to see three Victoria guys go right in front of us…we’re proud of them and happy for them, and we’re happy with the guys we got with our picks,” he added.
