Pacific FC is almost halfway to fielding a starting 11.
Three new additions were announced Tuesday, Jan. 15, continuing Pacific’s trend of bringing in players with Whitecap histories.
Alessandro Hojabrpour, Matthew Baldisimo and Terran Campbell – all natives of Burnaby – will be looking to grow their careers in Pacific colours. Baldisimo and Campbell return to Canada after a stint in the USL Championship, the U.S. second division, with the Whitecaps’s affiliate Fresno FC. Niether player got much field time last season. Baldisimo had three caps as a starter, while Campbell made 5 has a substitute. Neither player got on the score sheet.

Meanwhile, Hojabrpour came in from the Bulgarian league where he has been playing for Lokomotiv Plovdiv U19.
“These three are solid young players in their age group and we are glad to have them join us to continue their careers back in Canada, ” said head coach Michael Silberbauer in a press release. “They bring energy and excitement to our growing team.”
All three players have represented Canada at various youth levels, and have experience playing through the Vancouver Whitecaps’ Academy.
