The public is invited for a unique peek at the operations and activities of the city’s parks department Saturday (April 13) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A full schedule is planned, featuring the release of ladybugs, hands-on demonstrations in the native plant garden, greenhouse tours and meetings with parks planners, designers and arborists who help protect and grow the city’s urban forest.
Overall tours of the yard happen at 10 a.m. in English and noon in French. The yard is located on Nursery Road in Beacon Hill Park, near the 100-block of Cook St. Vehicle parking is available on Cook, while bike parking is on site.
