Returning for its 20th year, Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria will be held from Jan. 26 to Feb. 11, 2024.
The good festival features more than 45 participating restaurants and more than a dozen hotels, in the Greater Victoria area.
Destination Greater Victoria and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association, are once again partnering to offer foodies the opportunity to choose from set menus at special prices, $25, $35, $45, $55 or $65, and room rates at hotels ranging from $149 to $269.
Paul Nursey, CEO of Destination Greater Victoria, said Dine Around and Stay in Town started in 2004 as a way to support restaurants during the off-peak season.
“Today, the event is incredibly popular and Victoria’s food scene is hailed as one of the best in the world. Chefs, restauranteurs, and hoteliers continue to push boundaries to elevate the visitor experience, making the region a must-visit spot for local and out-of-town foodies,” said Nursey.
The festivities get underway with the Dine Around and Stay in Town Gala on Jan. 25 at the Victoria Conference Centre. Tickets to the gala are available to people 19 years of age or older. The gala will feature appetizers, a variety of beverages from B.C. wineries, and craft breweries as well as entertainment.
It’s anticipated the restaurants, wineries, and breweries will serve approximately 525 guests at the gala, according to Nursey.
