The City of Victoria is inviting the public to a day of making crafts, carolling and other holiday happenings downtown next month.
The Sleigh the Day event will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 17 between Humboldt and Courtney Streets on Government Street.
The event will include holiday craft-making for all ages and singing alongside festive carollers, while local artisans will be on the scene with handmade items and seasonal treats. Craft-making starts at 1 p.m. and will be available while supplies last.
Vendors will serve spiced apple cider and hot chocolate, and the Victoria Beer Society will be pouring seasonal craft beers for people to buy.
The Sleigh the Day event is part of the city’s OUR DWTN initiative, in partnership with the Victoria Beer Society.
