West Shore RCMP is investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Admirals Road.
In a statement the RCMP said they responded to a report of a collision on Admirals Road near Maple Bank Thursday morning (Aug. 14) at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The collision involved a white GMC Savana van, which had struck a pedestrian. In a Facebook post, the RCMP said the incident involved "serious injuries."
Officers shut down the intersection, which will be "closed for a number of hours." The RCMP traffic reconstructionist has also been called to the scene.
Police are seeking anyone with dash camera who was travelling near Admirals Road and Maple Bank between 10:15 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. to please review their footage.
