B.C. mourns Lapu-Lapu tragedy; Book of Condolence opened in Victoria

A Lapu-Lapu Tragedy Book of Condolence is open for the public to sign at the Hall of Honour in the Parliament Buildings in Victoria.

The Office of the Premier of British Columbia has opened a book of condolence for the public to express their sympathies and support following the tragic events at the Lapu-Lapu Festival in Vancouver on Saturday, April 26.

The physical book is available for signing at the Hall of Honour in the Parliament Buildings in Victoria.

Access will be granted daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Friday, May 2.

For those unable to visit in person, an online book of condolence has also been launched at submit.digital.gov.bc.ca, providing a convenient way for people to pay their respects remotely.

The online book will remain open until 5 p.m. on Monday, May 5.
