Ovarian Cancer Canada’s Walk of Hope raises vital funds to power ovarian cancer research, provide education and resources, and fuel advocacy efforts across Canada.

The latest Canadian Cancer Society statistics estimated 2024 would see 360 B.C. residents diagnosed with ovarian cancer, causing 310 deaths.

Those are the faces folks think about during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September.

Ovarian Cancer Canada hosts an annual Walk of Hope to raise research funds, provide education and support resources.

With 3,000 people across the nation expected to face a diagnosis this year, and less than half expected to live more than five years, the agency is determined to eradicate ovarian cancer.

The Greater Victoria 2025 Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is Sept. 7 at Royal Roads University, 2005 Sooke Rd.
